Just how did this blog get started? From whence did the inspiration come? It all began with these words:

Did you ask for my tampons back?

Yes, that is correct!!! My Pretty Pink friend asked this of me!!!

This led to much discussion over Period Poetry...alliteration, rhyme schemes, patterns!!! Alas, I had to make this blog come to its full living glory...here on the Internet!!

I said to my friend...should I have asked, "Sir, I'd like some tampons...what size? You ask? Super size me!!"

One thing leads to another...discussions on heavy ones, gushers, creation of a new brand of "feminine" protection and EGADS!!! We had to put this in writing!!

Pretty Period Poetry is born! My friend says to me: "That sounds like a great web site or a bathroom reading short book, for those days when you just want to sit on the toilet and let it leak !!"

I was dared to set it up, see how many hits I could get in the first hour!

So here it is...some may say it's gross...others may say it's great...either way, it's gonna be HEAVY!!
